The czerner dance academy offers a wide variety of dance and movement for all ages and levels.
Andrea and Peter Czerner lead a professional team of certified dance teachers and professional dancers. They all stand for excellent classes and lots of fun.
Besides weekly classes in Contemporary Dance, Tap Dance, Yoga, Egyptian Dance, Hip Hop, Ballet and more, we offer different workshops with teachers from around
the world like Pat Rincon, Faith Jensen-Ismay, Robin L. Smith, Nat Huor or Lenon Peachlum, just to name a few.
For a more intensive training we also offer private classes for all levels and techniques.
Our goal is to teach our students a good technical background in different styles, movement comprehension and how to improve their own style, technique and expression.

PRE PROFESSIONAL DANCE STUDIES :: |
|
The six month intensive program is geared for people who want to make dance their profession.
The program offers daily classes in the most important techniques and choreography, which is then accompanied by seminars in anatomy, nutrition, audition coaching and lighting. The students are encouraged to improve their ability and creativity and also, to continue further education.
The program ends with a written and practical exam plus a performance with choreography by students and teachers. Please call or e-mail for audition dates.

As the artistic director of the czerner dance company, Peter Czerner creates several dance productions a year. We also invite companies from abroad for collaboration and to perform in our space.

THE STUDIO :: |
|
Our space has about 160 square meters with mirrors, ballet bares, a swung floor, two dressing rooms, showers and a guest room. We also have a fully equipped stage with lights and curtains. The stage is 10 meters deep and 6 meters wide. If you are interested in performing please contact us.

ABOUT THE DIRECTORS :: |
|
Peter Czerner is a professional dancer, teacher and choreographer from San Diego, CA where he began his training
at Palomar College in 1985. He went on to dance with the "Victoria Arts Collaborative", Canada. Back in San Diego he
danced with "Isaacs, McCaleb and Dancers", "Mojalet", Pacific Entertainment, Princess Cruises and many other artists
and companies. Musical Theatre played an important roll in his career. He was cast in many parts which included
"Raul in the Phantom of the Opera" and the "MC in Cabaret", just to name a few. Peter was appointed Assistant Artistic
Director for "The Men Dance Troupe" and had guest appearances, at Carnegie Hall, with San Diego Ballet,
San Diego City Ballet and other companies.
Andrea Czerner received her Master in P.E with a major in dance and Politics at the University of
Konstanz, Germany. She had her dance training at the "Zurich Tanz Theater Schule" and continued
her education with Jean Isaacs in San Diego. Also included are other international teachers from
Switzerland, Germany and the US; master instructors are Kevin Wynn, Bill de Young, Christopher Pilafian and Sam Watson.
They both teach dance and movement since 20 years and can't imagine doing anything else!
